Advice to my younger self
On International Day of the Girl
Today I saw a LinkedIn post from a freelancer who had written in note form some advice she'd give her younger self on #InternationalDayOfTheGirl and I loved the idea.
She explained that the UN's #DayOfTheGirl campaign is about highlighting the sobering reality that gender equality is still a long way off. But perhaps by sharing our stories and the experiences that have shaped us, we can speed up that timeline and inspire the next generation of women and girls.
